We haven't had a lot of time to do fun activities lately with lots of entertaining pictures, but we have had a pretty good beginning to 2010. Over the next two months life will gradually get less chaotic, but for now we are just taking it one day at a time. Here are a few things that we have been up to:
- My baby brother, Andy, left on his mission February 10th. He'll leave the MTC on March 1st for the New York, New York South mission. We are so proud of him!
- Tyler has been doing lots of work on website design in his spare time (ha ha). He is so good at it, and his perfectionism really comes in handy!
- I'm in my last semester of coursework for my doctorate! I'm starting to study for my comprehensive exams in September, and then I'll be working on my dissertation.
- The studio is huge and doing very well. We have close to 40 students.
- I've been practicing whenever I have a spare minute (or when I'm no too lazy). I will be performing the Bartok Viola Concerto on March 13th with the Idaho Falls Symphony. Preparations are going well, and I'm excited for the performance. Everyone should come!!
- Lots of string quartet rehearsals. I'll be playing the Beethoven Opus 18 #1 Quartet this Saturday at the Idaho Falls Colonial Theater.
- We have been trying to be patient waiting for Spring. We have Spring Fever to the extreme!!!
That's about it. Hopefully more fun things to come!

Wow, Lisa! You simply amaze me. You almost have your doctorate, you have your own studio that has 40 students and your teaching college and performing professionally before you're even 30! I can't help but be very jealous! Wow. Good for you!
Lisa, you'll have to tell your brother Andy that if he lives on Staten Island to look for the Hunters (my sister and brother in law) they live in the same house as 4 of the elders! Sounds like you are a crazy busy woman!!! I'd love to come to a performance sometime, I'll be out west this summer sometime let me know if you're going to be playing anywhere and I'll try to make it!
