Halloween

I love Halloween! Not the scary, gross part, but I love the fall decorations and dressing up in costumes. Once again we went with a family costume and it was a huge success! We rented the Mary Poppins and Bert costumes from the campus theater department, and I found a great tutorial to make the penguin costumes for the boys. I was worried that they would refuse to wear them, so we practiced all week a little bit at a time. It cracked me up having little penguins running around my house.

 Hunter was much more willing, so we let Isaac see that it wasn't so scary.

They'll do anything to play the piano! 

 Success! The boys were champs, and people loved our costumes. Random people came up to us asking to take our picture, and when we went to the Halloween festival they thought we were working there as characters!

The boys love going on campus and we knew we wouldn't be trick-or-treating for very long, so we spread some joy to the college students.
